The Zen version of the Nooka watches features 2 vertical lines to represent the hours (1 to 6 and 7 to 12), 1 vertical line representing the minutes and 2 windows for the date and seconds.
Nooka is the brainchild of Matthew Waldman, an artist and designer who wanted to think of new ways to tell time. By separating the minutes from the hours and adding "mass" as more time passes (i.e. increasing the numbers of bars to represent more hours), Waldman is passionate about creating a more intuitive way to tell time.
